Saudi Arabia is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX announces no reasons by country. The mechanism is known: three providers, each making its own onboarding decision, with the portal showing those that work with your residential address. For Saudi Arabia none of them does.
The country was mentioned among unavailable jurisdictions as early as January 2025. A third provider has been added since, and it changed nothing.
There are no sanctions against Saudi Arabia and no outright ban on holding cryptocurrency. Nor is there a dedicated licensing regime for cryptocurrency services in the country. Whether any provider points to that has not been stated publicly.
What you can do now
If the claim is a large one, the difference between waiting and selling is measured in money, and it has to be worked out on actual figures rather than a general rule. We quote for free and the quote commits you to nothing.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
