Payment in USDC or USDT

FTX SELL pays for purchased claims in USDC or USDT. The agreed currency is recorded in the purchase agreement.

Before the call

Review the proposed price and purchase terms. Confirm the payment method, currency and destination with the team. For a crypto payment, check that the asset, network and receiving address match your wallet. Your agreement defines the conditions for your transaction.

The order of the transaction

Stage What happens
Before signing Confirm the price, payment asset, network and destination.
On the video call Sign electronically and check the incoming payment in your wallet.
After payment FTX SELL submits the transfer documents and covers filing costs.

On the signing call

FTX SELL’s process brings electronic signing and payment together on a video call. Confirm the destination carefully before the transfer. Do not treat a screenshot alone as proof that a payment has arrived.

After payment

FTX SELL handles the court filing and covers the filing costs. Filing and official recognition are separate from the payment step; their timing depends on the applicable process and your claim.

Keep your record

Save the signed documents, payment confirmation and correspondence. If you receive a later notice about the claim, share it with the team so it can be checked against your agreement.

The documents are signed, but payment has not arrived

Start with the payment condition agreed in the contract. Check whether it has been met and what settlement sequence is specified. Under FTX SELL’s published process, signing and payment take place on a video call, with filing after payment. Waiting for a court record should not automatically replace the agreed payment trigger.

  • If nothing has been sent, ask the team to explain the reason and check it against the agreed sequence.
  • If a transfer is reported as sent, request its transaction identifier and compare the asset, network and address with the agreed details.
  • Check actual receipt in your wallet or service. The sender’s screenshot does not replace receipt of funds.
  • If details differ or receipt cannot be confirmed, contact the team through its official contact and retain the correspondence. Do not disclose a seed phrase or keys.

Do not apply FTX’s official distribution timetable here: the buyer’s payment and a Trust distribution are separate payments. The basic sequence is set out in How It Works. No particular number of minutes for transaction confirmation is promised.

What to retain with the signed documents

  • The agreed offer and calculation: which rights are sold, the amount and the currency to be received.
  • The agreement and documents relating to the transfer.
  • The agreed payment details and evidence of actual receipt: date, asset, network, amount and transaction identifier, if applicable.
  • Past distribution information and the agreed treatment of payments received while the transaction is being arranged.
  • Correspondence about changes to the offer and confirmations received from the team.
