Country list: 1 October 2026; source updated: 2 October 2026
The FTX Support list is dated 1 October 2026; the source page was updated on 2 October 2026. It does not determine your individual claim status. Check current provider guidance and your Customer Portal. Current FTX provider guidance
Afghanistan is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX explains no reasons by country. The mechanism is the common one: three providers, each deciding for itself who to onboard, with the portal showing those that fit the residential address. For Afghanistan none fits.
Several circumstances come together here, which is rare on this list. International transfers into and out of the country are heavily restricted. The central bank prohibited cryptocurrency operations. Some organisations and individuals are under international restrictions.
No provider has publicly stated what it relies on. We give the situation, not a reason.
An important distinction: the country as such is not under a general embargo, and a claim against FTX is not a prohibited asset. What is restricted is the way money is delivered, not the right to it.
What you can do now
Weigh the whole task. Even if a provider one day appears, delivering money to an account inside the country will remain a separate difficulty. Those two things are worth counting separately.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
