Cameroon is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX publishes no reasons by country. The mechanism is the common one: three providers, each deciding for itself who to onboard, with the portal showing those that fit the residential address.
Cameroon is not alone on the list. Beside it stand the Central African Republic, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon: all six belong to one Central African monetary union, use one franc and share one central bank. Six in a row from a single union looks less like coincidence than a decision taken for the region as a whole.
There is no confirmation of that: FTX has given no regional explanations, and no provider has spoken. We give an observation, not a reason.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
