Country list: 1 October 2026; source updated: 2 October 2026
The FTX Support list is dated 1 October 2026; the source page was updated on 2 October 2026. It does not determine your individual claim status. Check current provider guidance and your Customer Portal. Current FTX provider guidance
Colombia is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
The reason is not known. We do not know it and we will not invent one.
Colombia is not under sanctions. There is no ban on cryptocurrency in the country, regulation is comparatively light, and international transfers work. None of the usual explanations fits.
Only the general mechanism is known. There are three providers, each making its own onboarding decision, with the portal showing a creditor those that work with their residential address. For Colombia none of them does, and FTX does not say why.
From Latin America the list also holds Cuba and Honduras, but those are different cases and no common reason is visible between them.
What you can do now
Keep an eye on the portal. Since the reason is unknown, so is the timing: the position could change at any moment, or not change at all. FTX makes no promises either way.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
