Lebanon is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX publishes no reasons by country. The mechanism is known: three providers, each deciding for itself who to onboard, with the portal offering those that work with the creditor's residential address. For Lebanon it offers none.
Lebanon has a circumstance most other countries on the list do not. Since 2019 the country's banking system has been in serious difficulty, with international transfers and access to funds heavily constrained. This is worth holding in mind for a practical reason: even if a provider one day opens up for Lebanon, getting money onto a local account remains a separate problem. Solving one does not solve the other.
Whether any provider points to this specifically has not been stated publicly.
What you can do now
Work out what you are actually waiting for. A provider appearing solves the formal question of access in the portal, but not the question of getting money onto an account inside the country. For Lebanon those two problems are worth counting separately.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
