Country list: 1 October 2026; source updated: 2 October 2026
The FTX Support list is dated 1 October 2026; the source page was updated on 2 October 2026. It does not determine your individual claim status. Check current provider guidance and your Customer Portal. Current FTX provider guidance
Macao SAR China is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX explains no reasons by country. The general mechanism applies: three providers, each deciding for itself who to onboard, with the portal showing those that fit the residential address. For Macao none of them fits.
A separate line on the list is not a formality. Macao is a special administrative region with its own currency, its own financial regulator and its own rules. The providers assess it separately from the mainland, and their decisions coincided, but each reached it by its own route.
The practical consequence for a creditor: switching a residential address between Macao and the mainland achieves nothing, both are on the list.
One more detail: Macao does not show on the world map, it is too small for the file the map is drawn from. So look for yourself in the text list below it rather than on the map itself.
What you can do now
Check the FTX account email. The address you will register with a provider must match the one in the portal. This is a frequent sticking point, and it surfaces before the question of provider availability does.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
