Tunisia is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
FTX gives no explanations by country. The mechanism is known: three providers, each deciding for itself who to onboard, with the portal showing those that fit the residential address. For Tunisia none fits.
Context: Tunisia operates currency regulation that limits foreign currency operations and moving funds abroad. No separate licensing regime for cryptocurrency services exists in the country.
Whether any provider has said it relies on that specifically is unknown to us. We give the situation, not a reason.
Tunisia is on the list together with Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Egypt. Five North African countries in a row, and FTX has published no regional explanation.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
