Country list: 1 October 2026; source updated: 2 October 2026

The FTX Support list is dated 1 October 2026; the source page was updated on 2 October 2026. It does not determine your individual claim status. Check current provider guidance and your Customer Portal. Current FTX provider guidance

Russia is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.

Why the payout is unavailable

FTX does not explain why any particular country ends up on the list. Only the mechanism is explained. There are three providers, and each decides for itself who to onboard. The portal shows you the ones that work with the address you gave during identity verification. If none of them do, the selection step simply is not there, and the amount owed to you is set aside.

In Russia's case this is not a court decision. FTX withdrew its motion to exclude jurisdictions from distributions on 3 November 2025, and nobody has taken away a Russian creditor's right to be paid. The obstacle is the intermediaries: all three providers work under US rules and will not onboard a Russian resident with a Russian bank. That is their own risk decision, not a ban from the bankruptcy case.

The difference matters in practice. A ban can be contested. A provider's refusal cannot.

What you can do now

Three options, and they do not rule each other out.

Check what state the claim is in. The claims agent's public search takes a Customer Code without a portal login and shows the status. If it reads Allowed, the claim is recognised, and what remains is only the question of how the money reaches you.

Wait. FTX says the list can change and providers can be added. That has happened before: Nigeria was among the unavailable countries in 2025 and is not on the list dated 1 October 2026. How long the wait might be, nobody says.

Sell. The claim stays your property and passes to another holder through the bankruptcy case in the Delaware court. The buyer takes on exactly the problem that stops you being paid. One deadline is worth knowing here: FTX set a six-month window to onboard with a provider after the 31 July 2026 distribution, and a creditor who misses it risks losing the payout for that round.

I am from this country. What do I do?

  • Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
  • Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
  • Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
