Ukraine is included in the site’s dated snapshot of FTX provider restrictions. A country restriction does not establish an individual claim’s status or transferability. Check the recorded amount, then request an individual purchase review. FTX SELL may decline a purchase.
Why the payout is unavailable
The honest answer here is that the reason is not known. FTX publishes no country-by-country explanation, and Ukraine does not fall under any of the reasons usually given for the list.
What is known is only that the providers decide for themselves. The portal shows a creditor whichever of the three works with their residential address. For Ukraine none of them does, and this has held for a long time: the country was among the unavailable ones back when there were two providers, and adding Payoneer in 2025 did not change it. Payoneer claims a presence in more than 190 countries, but only around 90 of them turned out to be available for FTX distributions.
We are not going to guess at the reasons. What matters more for a creditor is this: the list is a snapshot in time, FTX states plainly that the set of providers may grow, and nobody can say in advance when that will happen or whether it will.
What you can do now
Keep the deadline in mind. After the 31 July 2026 distribution FTX set a six-month window to onboard. A creditor for whom no provider ever appears is in the position where the clock runs and there is nothing they can do about it.
I am from this country. What do I do?
- Request an offer to sell your claim. Fill in the form: country, code and contact details. There is no obligation before signing.
- Check that the claim is allowed. The claims agent runs a public search that takes an FTX Customer Code with no portal login.
- Close out identity verification and tax forms if they are open. They do not depend on a provider, and nothing works without them.
